50 posts will be filled in the State Finance Department in the West Bengal Audit and Accounts Service through West Bengal Audit and Accounts Service Recruitment Examination 2020. The official notification number is 17/2020. Candidates will be selected by West Bengal Public Service Commission.
Vacancies Details: 50 vacancies (Unreserved 25, Scheduled Caste 11, Scheduled Tribe 3, OBC A5, OBC B4, Physically Handicapped 2).
Eligibility: Candidates must have Bachelor Degree in Commerce or MBA / PGDM (Finance) from a recognized University or equivalent Post Graduate Degree in Finance or be a member of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India / Institute of Cost Accountants of India.
Age limit: As of January 1, 2020, the upper age limit is 36 years. Candidates in the reserved category of the state will get exemption in the upper age limit as per the Government rules.
Candidate Selection Procedure: Candidates will be selected through written test and personality test. The written test will be in two stages, Preliminary and Main. Details about the type of examination and syllabus can be found on the website of PSC.
Application fee: Rs 210 with service charge and GST 8 Scheduled Castes / Tribes and Physically Handicapped in West Bengal do not have to pay fees.
