The final results of the Union Public Service Commission’s 2019 Civil Services (Main) examination have come out. The interview took place in February-August. A total of 829 people (General 304, EWS 78, OBC 251, SC 129, ST 67) have been selected for the posts in Indian Administrative Service, Indian Foreign Service, Indian Police Service and Central Services Group-A and Group-B. A reserve list of 182 (General 91, EWS 9, OBC 71, SC 8, ST 3) has also been kept. A list of 11 people has been retained.
The Civil Services Examination (CSE) is a nationwide competitive examination in India conducted by the Union Public Service Commission for recruitment to various Civil Services of the Government of India, including the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Foreign Service (IFS), and Indian Police Service (IPS).
